Welcome to Breindell: Redefining Jewish Jewelry

Where heritage meets haute couture

Breindell’s talismanic jewelry is a rare fusion of Jewish craftsmanship, spiritual heritage, and avant-garde design. Handmade and made-to-order in Israel.

Something is missing in the world of fine jewelry. And, let’s not even get started on the state of Jewish jewelry. Not in Karat, but in creativity. Not in weight, but in meaning. Not in polish, but in purpose.

Most of what we saw, whether from traditional fine jewelers or in the realm of so-called "Judaica", felt filtered, flattened, diluted, rehashed, tired, and disconnected from its origins. Spiritual shorthand, stripped of any essence. Style without substance. Design without a story. Not as things were intended.

Even the word “Judaica” has a story. It comes from Latin, the language of an empire that once exiled the Jewish people. Why should our sacred symbols be filtered through the lens of those who sought to erase them? Why should we allow others to define us? Or the values we stand for?

The Fine Jewelry House, Redefined

We don’t chase trends. We craft presence. At Breindell, we reclaim the narrative. Rooted in ancient symbolism and refined by haute couture discipline. Every piece is handmade in our Israeli ateliers. Designed to be lived with, layered, cherished, gifted, and passed down.

Jewish jewelry and spiritual jewelry is finally having its moment.

The Tallisman Collection

Our debut collection studies the intersection of ancient Jewish spiritual design with state-of-the-art technology. Unisex. Collectible. Heirloom. Discover it today.

Each piece is inspired by tzitzit, the ancient fringes worn as a spiritual reminder, and, now translated by Breindell into fine metals. These are the first of their kind. Although they don’t replace the mitzvah of wearing tzitzit they honor the commandment and its various designs and interpretations as a spiritual symbol infused with all its original meaning which has been painstakingly translated into high-end luxury Jewish jewelry.

The old adage goes that the devil is in the details, however, at Breindell, all things holy, spiritual, and soul are in the details.

Our designs don’t shout. They don’t need to. Their presence is unmistakable.

Wear your Sterling silver or 14K gold Tzitzit jewelry for protection. For memory. For meaning. Or simply because they are inexplicably magnetic.

You Don’t Have to Be Jewish

On a cramped subway car, a sharply‑dressed hipster—sidelong cap, beard, headphones—stands back‑to‑back with a Hasidic Jewish man, identifiable by his black coat, white shirt and wide‑brimmed hat. They mirror each other’s stance yet their style and spiritual universes diverge. The car’s fluorescent lights glint off metal poles, the muted tunnel outside suggests the rumble of the train. The juxtaposition evokes two distinct identities sharing the same journey.

(Take the L Train by Tomer Hanuka).

Breindell is proudly rooted in Jewish Identity, but we speak the language of high-end fashion, luxury design, creation with good intentions, and a place of belonging.

You do not have to be Jewish to wear our jewelry. You only need to believe that luxury should encompass deep meaning, resonance, and powers beyond the mere fine metals used, something almost inexplicable in the very foundation and shape of things.

A Hasidic ultra-orthodox religious Jewish man rides a bicycle through a narrow street in Mea Shearim, Jerusalem, on a sunny Friday morning. Plastic shopping bags are packed and draped over both handlebars. Cars line the sides of the cramped street, and the tightly packed buildings and bright sunlight highlight the dense, bustling character of this religious neighborhood preparing for Shabbat.

Welcome to Unapologetically, Jewish. The Breindell Editorial

This is more than a blog. This is the beating heart of Breindell.

It’s a place for dialogue, exchange, essays, explorations, and editorial dispatches from the intersection of style, symbolism, and identity. From Jewish material culture to talisman traditions across the globe, essays on material culture, reflections on symbolism, and explorations of jewelry as identity. Interviews, histories, and the sacred geometry of ornament. From the meaning behind a single clasp to the broader concept of luxury as a legacy.

A space to spark, where the “Pintele Yid” comes out to play in every shape and flavor of avatar from across the spectrum of Jewish life and our supporters and allies, and in all its diverse and beautiful glory!

For the curious. The conscious. The connected.

Why We Exist

We created Breindell because we didn’t see ourselves: our values, our heritage, our high-fashion design-first aesthetic, reflected in the fine jewelry or Jewish jewelry spaces. Too often, it felt performative or pared down. Pretty, but empty. Spirituality is sold short for style, or worse, for stereotypes.

We’re here to create something different. For those who live in nuance. Those who seek substance. Who knows that identity is not a costume, and talismans aren’t a trend. And yes, we’re here for those who didn’t know they needed this. Until now.

What Comes Next

More pieces. More collections. More conversation. More questions. More unity. More ways to return to something ancient, through something new.

Whether you discovered us through a recommendation, a scroll, or a search for meaningful design, you are not here by accident.

You are exactly where you’re meant to be. Welcome.
